Giving Back
Beyond the stage, Rachel is deeply committed to giving back to her community through art, storytelling, and creative fundraising. From painting watercolors of local businesses during the pandemic to documenting the history of Georgetown's historic homes, her work celebrates and supports the people and places around her.

Georgetown Chamber of Commerce
2020 Citizen of the Year
During the COVID-19 shutdown, Rachel painted over 60 watercolor portraits of Georgetown buildings and sold more than 1,000 prints through her Art with Heart collection, raising over $10,000 for local downtown businesses. Her efforts earned her the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce's 2020 Citizen of the Year award and a Certificate of Recognition from the State of Texas, presented by State Representative James Talarico.
“It means I succeeded in bringing a bit of happiness to our community in a challenging time. But it was you — our community — that stepped up and made the Art with Heart Fundraiser such a success.”— Rachel Hancock
